We have man killing man,
till what we've got is a blood red sea;
A lust-greed social mindset,
that chains us all to I, my and me;
There's always a lesson
comes with pain and misery;
This ain't the way it's supposed to be;

Whatever it is,
it's been with us all along;
While Love and Peace grow weak,
it just keeps on gettin' strong;
Our sun is setting,
pretty soon we'll all be gone;
We gotta' learn a new song;

It's waiting for us when we wake up;
it's there when we fall asleep;
It's a part of everything we say, feel and think,
week after week;
We teach it to our children;

With patronizing intuitive dribble
it has paralyzed our hearts;
Appealing to our egos,
it's jellified our thinkin' parts;
Just 'cuz it's always been this way
is no reason we gotta stay;
We've got to break away from the herd

When life gets this out of whack
you gotta' know the cure won't come easy;
The tyrants of personal dysfunction
won't be toppled with more appeasing;
Whatever it is that we've always been doing
that's put us in this hell hole where we are,
