Developmental Progression Preface:
	I feel the need to preface the Developmental Continuums essay. I believe we can establish some consensus regarding human social behaviors.  Something's wrong. Whatever it is we've been doing, it ain't working. Left unchecked, the current course laid out by contemporary human social structures will inevitably lead to annihilation.  Whether this is a divine apocalypse or merely the natural consequence of defying nature matters little. When there is absolutely no more room for current social antagonisms to dissipate, we will devour ourselves. We may differ as to a time line, but I believe we can agree mankind is presently on the road to self-destruction. Were mankind participating in an outcomes-based course of instruction, mankind would flunk the course. With this in mind, consider that the late Benjamin Libet and the cutting edge brain research scientist, Chun Siong Soon have presented Scientific Method based papers which when separated from intuitive based conflict of interest emotionalism provide us with overwhelming evidence that since the beginning of mankind's existence, mankind has based its behaviors on a false assumption. The premise upon which we have built the preponderance of our social structures is thoroughly bogus; frighteningly fictitious. It is physics-based brain function that produces conscious awareness and not some meta-physical nebulosity.  Ours is a determined universe and not some romantic free-willian construction. So, combine these two realities and the inconvenient truth we must confront is our foundations are false and the product we produce is lethal. The beginning and end of our collective social journey are both abject failures; are both contemptuous of natural law.  False premises produce a failed product.  False social premises produce a failed social product. What does that say about what lies between the two? If nothing else the in-between stuff needs to be thoroughly smelted.  Mankind deserves kudos regarding its energetic and creative efforts to make the dead horse sing, but the horse ain't gonna sing! Something is wrong and it has been badly wrong from the start.  Something ain't working and the consequences of this malfunction are inescapably lethal. This rather lengthy essay uses determined-universe philosophy as a starting point and attempts to explain how things should work and why mankind's efforts haven't worked. Basically, it clears the deck of all that has been and provides a vision of how things can be. In Truth, it provides a vision of how things must be if mankind is to have a tomorrow. It is rather lengthy! [understatement]  I guess I apologize!  I didn't intend it to be, but after I got started, it took on a life all its own. It is the first time I have attempted to put into one complete essay the dynamics that have left mankind teetering precariously on the edge of extinction.  All of it has been swirling in and about my daily thoughts for years and now appeared to be the time to allow it to coelesce into readable form. My purpose is not to injure egos or insult esteemed structures.  I have endeavoured to keep my thoughts sterile and let the chips fall where they may.  My purpose is to offer a physics-based explanation for where mankind presently finds itself and to then offer a sketchy blueprint for how to build a bridge from the precipice at which we stand to a new understanding and a new social reality based on that understanding. When I'm dead and gone...well, when the day comes for me to breathe my last breath, I want to be able to breathe easy knowing I have shared everything I had to share.
